My honey found out about... read more Beyond Braids just doing a google search. Sent me her website and it said she was open till 9pm so l called after wk. Which is convenient because it's hard to make business calls while at wk. She answered the call with joy! And asked for pictures, gave me a price range, and next availability. Now my man was indecisive about a day so she was patient with the back and forth. She required a deposit and was unable to use the apps she uses. She said we could just pay cash at time of appointment. Flexible and understanding. I didn't go with him but he says she took about 1 hour 45 minutes. He says she offered him water and was playing gospel music. He felt relaxed and had his eyes closed most of the time. Tells me she has a good spirit. And def gotta be careful about who you let put hands on you. Now my honey has slight thinning at the crown of his hair due to alopecia and previous braider would put mascara to darken it but she didn't do that and it looks great natural! He had hair added in but the ends look natural as well. The parts and braids are neat. He told me she sprayed product and moisturized his hair before starting and moussed at the end. Looked very healthy. She gave a range of $95-120 and advised it would be based on his hair. She charged $95. Fair and reasonable. Only complaint he had was the chair being uncomfortable and I told him to take a chair pad or pillow next time.. he said she had one and should have asked. So that’s on him lol You can tell she is passionate about what she does because she's fair and does beautiful work. Your hands are BLESSED! Thank youuuu.
